Christmas is on its way and what better gift can we give than to show God’s love to others. That’s why each December we come together as a church to bring a special offering that honors God and enables us to take a giant leap forward in fulfilling the opportunities He’s placed before us. We have 3 areas of focus and invite you to take a moment to read through them and take some time to prayerfully consider how God will use you to make a difference HERE, NEAR & FAR.

Raising the Quality of Life 

There is a rapidly growing number of people struggling with anxiety, depression, loneliness and other mental health issues.  As a result, we have an unprecedented demand for Christ-centered counseling in our area. Good Samaritan Ministries is an international ministry based in Beaverton that provides counseling services free of charge to those who are in need. With the ever-growing demand for counseling, we seek to support Good Samaritan Ministries as they serve on the front lines in our community. Our support will help to strengthen this ministry and impact through counseling where people from all walks of life and every need can come and find unconditional love, acceptance and an encounter with the kingdom of God.

FAR:
Global Compassion 

MAUA KIDS: Our ministry partner in Kenya for the past 3 years has more than doubled in size in 2024 serving 3,300 kids on a weekly basis. As this important ministry continues to grow, we want to bless them with additional resources that will help set them up for maximum effectiveness in reaching and ministering to kids 2025!

Average attendance at weekly Maua Kids Church Services: 3,300
Kids involved in Maua Kids singing group: 205
Snack served at Maua Kids services this year: 125,000+

GIVING A HAND UP: There are many around the world who live in such impoverished conditions that they struggle to support their families and could use a hand up. Thanks to our partnership with Samaritans Purse we have the opportunity to help in a tangible way by providing 70 dairy goats that will be distributed to these families in need. These goats become a tangible blessing as they can provide a steady source of protein-rich milk for nourishment,  a salable resource at the local market with the potential to increase the family's income and equipping them with resources to improve their health, education and enhance their socioeconomic standing.
